Transgender Law Center: Trans Immigrant Defense Effort (TIDE)
Transgender Law Center (TLC) changes law, policy, and attitudes so that all people can live safely, authentically, and free from discrimination regardless of their gender identity or expression. Currently TIDE is prioritizing providing pro bono representation for deportation and removal defense to TGNC immigrants. If you or someone you know are a trans or gender nonconforming immigrant who is detained and seeking representation, is outside of the United States and planning on presenting themselves at the border to seek asylum, or if you want to contact TLC with any immigration law-related questions or concern, please contact us.
