Hartford Public Library - The American Place
The American Place (TAP) is a free program of Hartford Public Library designed to welcome immigrants and facilitate their transition to their new home city. Our services include free English and citizenship classes, internet access, and immigration legal advice. Also, TAP recruits and trains volunteer Cultural Navigators to offer mentoring and tutoring support to new arrivals.
