LSS Center for New Americans provides a wide range of services for newcomers to the USA or Americans with family abroad. Some of our services are specific to refugees, such as resettlement case management and refugee reunification applications. Other services are available to all and include English language learning classes, citizenship classes, interpretation services and assistance with immigration legal services such as family reunification, adjustment of status naturalization, assistance with work permits, T visas, U visas and other VAWA relief. We do not do deportation defense work. We currently offer legal services on site and remotely through ZOOM technology when needed, so that we can continue to serve the entire state of SD and surrounding areas in Minnesota and Iowa as needed.
